Ideal for anyone who wants to eat less carbohydrates, is gluten intolerant or just want to make a really yummy pizza with full-bodied taste. What you top the cauliflower pizza with, you choose yourself.
Ingredients:
- Pizzacrust
- 200 g cauliflower
- 1/2 dl grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup grated mozzarella
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
- 2 tablespoons almond flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
Topping
- 1 dl tomato sauce
- ½ chopped or sliced red onion
- 1 mozzarella (125 g) torn or shredded
- Slices of air-dried ham
- Chopped sausage
- Spinach leaves
- Spring onion chopped
Instructions:
Set the oven to 250 ° C.
Crust: Mix raw cauliflower into a fine rice in a food processor. Place in a bowl and heat in the microwave for 4 minutes on full power. Let cool. Squeeze out the liquid.
Mix the cauliflower rice with parmesan, mozzarella, oregano, chili flakes, almond flour, salt and eggs to a dough.
Spread / flatten the dough into 2 pizzas (for 2 servings) on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake in the middle of the oven for 8-10 minutes until the bottoms are golden and crispy. Remove and allow to cool slightly.
Topping: Add any pizza topping you prefer and have. I used what I had this particular day, tomato sauce, cheese, onion, sausage, ham, spring onion, spinach.
Bake for another 5 minutes.
For serving: Feel free to top the pizza with some greens.
