Fride Rice with a twist

I never want to waste food. And often I compose a meal from leftovers I have. This meal is such one. I looked at my ingredients and thought: What can I make? Yes a delicious Fried Rice with a twist.


  • 1 cup Cooked rice
  • 1 egg
  • 1 avocado
  • some pomegranate seeds
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 onion
  • some turkeymeat
  • 1 red peppar
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Any other spice you like
  • vegetable oil
  • Yoghurt
  • Parsley
  • Chiliflakes
  • 1 soft tortilla

Start with peeling and chopping the carrot, onion and red pepper. Chop your meat to small pieces.

Heat a wok pan and add vegetable oil. Quickly fry up the egg while stirring all the time. Add onion and stir, add chopped carrot and peppar and stir. Add the rice and keep stirring, add the cut meat and stir. Add spices to your liking.

Cut the avocado to fine slices. Cut your tortilla to small triangles.

As a dipping a little natural yoghurt with salt and peppar, some chiliflakes.

Plate rice and avocado and sprinkle pomegranate seeds over. Decorate with parsley.
